UPI, cards, netbanking on the invoice you sent.
For customers paying in India, a Razorpay link on the invoice covers UPI, cards, and netbanking. The payment webhook marks the invoice paid and stops the cadence; settlements are matched in bank rec like any deposit.

How it flows
UPI, cards, netbanking. Without the webhook, money arrives and the invoice stays open.
- 01
Link on the invoice
The email carries a Razorpay payment link for the invoice amount.
- 02
Webhook marks paid
payment.captured marks the invoice paid and stops Watchtower the same minute.
- 03
Settlement in bank rec
Razorpay settles to your bank on its cycle, net of fees. The deposit is matched to the invoices it covers.
What it does
- Payment links per invoice with the public number as the reference.
- Paid status from the webhook; partial captures reduce the balance.
What it does not
- Replace bank reconciliation — the settlement is still a deposit to match.
- Process payments outside the invoice flow.
Before the first sync
- 01Razorpay key pair and a webhook secret. Confirm the webhook fires in test mode before the first live invoice.
- 02Settlement cycle noted so bank rec expectations match the calendar.
