Integrations · Going out

The alert goes where the team already reads.

Daily billing runs, a sync that failed, a deposit that matched, a usage spike on a customer — each one is a message in the channel you choose, with a link back to the record. Nothing is decided in Slack; it is where you find out.

How it flows

Billing alerts where the team already talks. A usage spike is worth knowing the same day.

  1. 01

    Pick the channel

One channel for the daily run, another for exceptions if you want the noise split.

  2. 02

    Events post as they happen

Schedule activated, invoice sent, deposit matched, sync error, usage above threshold.

  3. 03

    Click through to act

Every message links to the invoice, schedule, or queue item. Approval still happens in Sonic.

What it does

  • Post the daily billing summary and exception alerts.
  • Link every message to the record it is about.

What it does not

  • Accept commands — you cannot send or approve from Slack.
  • Post customer-identifying detail beyond the invoice number and amount unless you opt in.

Before the first sync

  1. 01A Slack app installed on the workspace with permission to post to the chosen channels.
  2. 02Thresholds for usage alerts set per organisation.
