Retainers, implementations, a one-time fee due later. Those rows have a date in the deal. If that date is later, Sonic places the row — it does not ask a model to pick a phase. A one-time line bills on its block’s anchor. The choice is arithmetic.

Sit next to any recurring lines you also sell. Same schedule, same freeze once sent.
Corrections
A sent invoice is frozen. Credit notes correct it. They are not a way to pretend the original never happened.
What Sonic does
Put the fee on the date. Generate from the schedule. Freeze on send.
Approve the structured SOW the same way you approve a SaaS contract. Catalog customers and products can materialise on approve so the next engagement is not a blank form. Drafts you still edit. Sent documents you credit or adjust.

Will you rewrite an invoice after it has been sent?
No. Sent, paid, void, and final invoices are not rewritten. Corrections are credit notes or a new invoice alongside the original. Drafts and in-progress invoices can still accept lines. Freight has no credit notes — correct the file, or void.
Can we start from a signed PDF?
Yes. Upload the agreement, review the structured result, approve. Sonic can materialise the customer and products on approve rather than forcing a blank catalog first. Time-to-schedule is measured in minutes on straightforward contracts.
Do you process payments or file tax returns?
Sonic does not take the place of a payment processor, a tax engine of record, a general ledger of record, or a CPQ. Stripe and Razorpay can collect on an invoice. Your accountant still owns the books Sonic feeds.
